We're A Travelin' Band!

Just like last time, we had a blast at The Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff over the Labor Day weekend. Thanks to everybody who came out to the show -- you made us feel welcome in your town. Flagstaff rocks! And no kidding, the ghosts turned on the light in our room and the fan started whirling, we got it on cell phone video!

And the California crowds were great too. Thanks to everyone in San Marcos at The Jumping Turtle show for making our first time there such a good one. Love the room and the sound there, just awesome! All you San Diego types gotta check it out next time!

But it might be hard to top our outdoor show just last Saturday at The Santa Fe Express Cafe at the Fullerton Amtrak station. What's more punk rock than a freight train barreling through whistle blaring while the band plays on? Be there next time to see what we mean!

And to those of you in Arizona and Utah, we're heading your way in a couple days. Check our EVENTS page for all the details, and come join the fun. We can't wait to see you all.

Some new pictures have been posted, so check 'em out.

Hey, it was almost cold in Phoenix last week, barely in the 90's, what's goin' on? That crisp cool fall weather is settling in! We really enjoyed seeing all our Phoenix friends again at The Big Fish, thanks for coming out on a Thursday night, skipping homework for some hang time with Pensive, you guys were awesome as always. We'll be back next month, on campus at ASU, for a free noontime show October 19th, so plan to ditch and we'll see you there!

Also, to all our new friends in Saint George Utah, thanks for coming out for our first visit to The Electric Theater. We love your town and really appreciate how you made us feel welcome, and we're already planning a trip back very soon . . . when the rodeo's not in town! Watch for our return.

And Orange County, we're heading back your way in just a couple days. On Thursday the 22nd, we'll be at Cal State Fullerton, on campus, for the Back-to-School Block Party "Hawaii 05." We'll be at the outdoor Becker Amphitheatre, near the Student Union, from noon 'til one. It's free, it's all ages, and everyone is welcome! You don't have to be a student at the school to attend, just find your way to campus for an entire hour of Pensive, and a lot of Block Party fun and games. And why not dress the part?? Hawaiian leis and flipflops will be de rigueur. Get ready for some hula lessons, and pray for sun. Kipa mai!

Then on Friday the 23rd, we'll be in Newport Beach for an all ages show at the infamous Hogue Barmichaels, playing first on a very full lineup of some of your favorite OC bands. $10 will buy you a lot of music. But if you get there later than 7 you're gonna miss us, so come out early, then hang out all night with Pensive.

Finally, we'll be in Downey on Sunday night for the 21+ crowd at the one and only Anarchy Library for a night of puuunk rooock! We just might be too poppy to rock at AL, we'll see. Maybe we'll just play the punk rock jukebox during our set and lip sync!

Check the EVENTS page for all the details.

Watch for lots of pictures to be posted over the weekend. See ya . . . .
