2007 for Pensive: It's A Wonderful Life

2007 has been a crazy ride! This year has been everything from exhilarating to exhausting, but it’s by far our favorite Pensive year yet! From writing and releasing our first full length album Artifacts, to ending the year touring three months all across the US on our CD release tour, it’s been a blast.

Thanks to all of you who came out to see us in your home towns. Sharing the new songs with you was an amazing experience, indescribable really. Every night you opened your hearts to us and we’re grateful. And to those of you who opened your homes, giving us a place to crash, along with some free food and friendship, you kept us going from town to town literally. We couldn’t stay out on the road without your hospitality, so a big thanks from all of us. 31 states down, 19 to go! And hey, watch our tour section, because you’ll see us very soon once again in 2008!

But the highlight of 2007 just might have been the last night of the tour right here at home in San Diego. Our benefit show for fire victim Richard Varshock brought us together with Richard’s high school classmates and our good friends Stereo Summer and White Apple Tree for an amazing night of ROCKING FOR VARSHOCK! With an awesome outpouring of community support, we all came together to raise more than $2700 for Richard, so to all who ROCKED with us … THANKS!

And Richard, you inspire us with your courage, thank you for that. Next Pensive show in San Diego in 2008 … we’ll see you there man!
